Pedal Through Time: Explore the Stories and Spirit of Cycling!

Project: Pop-up Bicycle Museum

In order to spread our enthusiasm about bicycles and cycling culture, we built a traveling bicycle museum. It was first displayed during the Le Tour de France Femmes at Motel Mozaique Festival. We launched the museum showcasing the rich history of women’s cycling in the Netherlands, right up to the modern day.

The pop-up museum also includes fun activities such as trying our special bicycles, the possibility for visitors to share their thoughts about gender barriers and cycling myths, and even the tunes they listen to while riding.

Furthermore, it has a mobile bicycle kitchen where we help service bikes and share our repairs knowledge!

We are developing our pop-up museum as a modular system that can display many themes around the rich culture of cycling. When it isn’t traveling the exhibit is on display at our workshop. So come have a look!
